Dr. Kwanoo Lee was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, but grew up in Asia, Europe, and the U.S. His love of the outdoors began before he was a Boy Scout and continued to grow after he obtained his Eagle Scout. He graduated high school with honors and studied at the University of California, Los Angeles where he majored in Biochemistry with a Biomedical Research Minor. He then attended Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida, where he obtained his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine with high honors. He followed with a surgical residency at Jefferson Health Northeast.
In his surgical residency training, Dr. Lee received grants to pursue research regarding 3D printing and its application to patient specific models to assist in operative treatments. He also served as Academic Coordinator and spoke in multiple Grand Rounds regarding a wide array of foot and ankle pathologies ranging from diabetic foot care, acute trauma management to advanced reconstruction.
Dr. Lee enhanced his training with a post-doctoral ACFAS Virginia Fellowship; Reconstruction, Revision, and Limb Preservation Surgery in Foot and Ankle. During his fellowship, Dr. Lee honed his surgical management in sports medicine, arthroscopy, and foot and ankle implants.
In his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys going to the gym, visiting local parks and trying out new foods with his wife and 1 year old girl “Gigi”. Dr. Lee is currently accepting new patients.
