Dr. Kimia Sohrabi, is a fellowship trained foot and ankle Podiatric surgeon. She has special interest in sports medicine and rehabilitation, arthroscopic cartilage repair, arthritis and joint replacement, advance reconstruction of the foot and ankle, orthoplastic techniques, revisional surgery, limb preservation/ limb salvage, wound care and fracture care.
Dr. Sohrabi completed her Podiatric Medical Education at Temple University with honors. She then attended a residency at St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor and St. Mary Mercy Livonia, in the greater Detroit area where she had the opportunity to work with foot and ankle Orthopedic and Podiatric surgeons.
She attended an additional year of fellowship at University of Texas Health and Science Center in San Antonio in the department of Orthopedics, Podiatry division, under the guidance of a world renowned surgeon, Dr. Thomas Zgonis. She is also well published and is committed to educating residents and other young surgeons. She also lectures at local and national conferences.
